ChemMet-Cap

A LNE Joint Research Project
ChemMet-Cap
WP leader: LNE
The aim of this work package is to develop analytical capabilities in the field of elemental analysis by Isotope Dilution Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ID ICPMS) for concentrations at ppt and ppb levels with uncertainties lower than 10 %.
WP Leader: BIM
The aim of this work package is to develop a secondary calibration method for pH buffers’ characterisation for pH nominal values of 4, 7 and 9 with a target uncertainty of 0.008 pH.
WP leader: LNE
The aim of this work package is to validate the analytical measurement procedures developed in WP1 (trace elemental analysis by ID ICPMS) and WP2 (secondary calibration method for pH measurements) through the participation in interlaboratory comparisons.
An additional aim of this work package is the investigation of two case studies applying the project outcomes, in order to provide the demonstration of the exploitation of the acquired capabilities.
WP leader: TUBITAK
The aim of this work package is to ensure the wide dissemination of the knowledge generated within this project. It is also important to gather information and on going feedback regarding the needs of the end users and other stakeholders both in terms of those providing input to the project and the European end user community. This work package will also ensure that the developments achieved in this project will be available for exploitation by a wide range of stakeholders in industry, the metrology and scientific community and societal institutes and bodies.
