WP4: Industrial dissemination through industrial use cases, demonstrators and comparisons
This work package aims to implement the output and outcomes developed in the previous WPs to address industrial use cases (UCs) related to dimensional, structural (Task 4.1), surface and operational (Task 4.2) qualities. A total of 13 use cases (UCs) have been selected belonging to several strategic fields: automotive (3 UCs), aerospace (2 UCs), food (1 UC), pharmaceutical (2 UCs), medical (1 UC), electronics (1 UC), large instruments for nuclear applications (1 UC), and renewable energy (1 UC).
- Task 4.1 will evaluate the performance of the T-MVSs and V-DTs of MVSs, and the dense-image matching, classification, evaluation, etc. algorithms from WP1, WP2 and WP3 in several industrial use cases (automotive, pharmaceutical, nuclear and semiconductors fields) that belong to the categories of dimensional and structural qualities.
- Task 4.2 will evaluate the performance of the developed T-MVSs (WP1), V-DTs of MVSs (WP2) and dense-image matching, classification, evaluation, etc. algorithms (WP3) in several industrial use cases that belong to the categories: surface and operational qualities.
- Task 4.3 will evaluate the performance of the different T-MVSs developed in WP1, and also the performance of some commercially available systems at the participants sites, in assessing the dimensions and surface quality of industrial freeform parts.
- Task 4.4 will compare the performance of industrially available software for feature matching against the reference data (softgauges) generated in WP3 and implemented in a robust reference data generator using ISO 5436-2 2012 “Type F1” requirements in order to assess feature matching contributions to MVSs applications.
- Task 4.5 will prepare TRL 6 to 7 T-MVSs demonstrators as training facilities for workshops and industrial and educational training visits for use in disseminating project development in WP5.
- Task 4.6 will prepare the dissemination materials for the application of project developed T-MVSs, the evaluated industrial use cases that target the automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, food, medical, semiconductor and renewable energy sectors and the implementation of project developments into at least 3 industrial demonstrators.
