MultiFixRad

A LNE Joint Research Project

The project final meeting was held on the 26th and 27th of May. It was the occasion to spend some time in the high-temperature laboratory of RISE to follow the realisation of melting and freezing plateaux of one of the Co-C fixed point cells of RISE on the morning of the 26th of May.
In the afternoon, a workshop was organised for the consortium to sum-up the findings and the progress accomplished during the project. The workshop was open to stakeholders and could be followed online as well. The content of the workshop was as follows:
13:00 – 13:20 Opening and introduction (Magnus, RISE / Åge, JV)
13:20 – 13:40 Background and theory of HTFPs(Mohamed, LNE-Cnam)
13:40 – 14:00 Extensive sharing of knowledge and experience in the field of high-temperature radiation thermometry (Lenka, CMI)
14:00 – 14:20 HTFP cells, Construction, filling (Patrik, RISE)
14:20 – 14:40 HTFP cells, Measurements, furnace effects (Peter, SMU)
14:40 – 15:00 Coffee break with fika
15:00 – 15:20 Practical implementation of relative primary radiation thermometry (RPRT) using MultiFixRadSoft (Can, Tubitak UME)
15:20 – 15:40 Using a camera as a novel interpolating pyrometer for use in relative primary thermometry (Andreas, DFM)
15:40 – 16:00 Euramet T-K10 comparison (Frederic, LNE-Cnam)
16:00 – 16:20 Dissemination of the scale (Humbet. Tubitak UME)
16:20 – 16:40 Furnace design (Sönnik, DTU)
16:40 – 17:00 Open discussion (All)
17:00 Closing of the workshop
On the 27th the final meeting was held with the representatives of the participants.
